SYNFLEX® - Liquid Glucosamine for osteo arthritis in dogs
PURCHASE SYNFLEX FOR DOG ARTHRITIS
Q. What makes Syn-flex® one of the highest quality, most effective glucosamine products for dogs?
A. In producing Syn-flex®, we have taken the utmost care to ensure that your dog gets the highest quality, most effective product for easing arthritis pain. To do this, we use pharmaceutical quality glucosamine, the highest quality glucosamine available. We combine this with ten other high-quality synergistic arthritis-fighting ingredients in a premuim formula developed for maximum absorption and maximum relief of arthritis pain in dogs. Each batch of Syn-flex® undergoes a laboratory analysis to ensure ingredient quality and efficacy and is issued a certificate of analysis.
In the high-quality liquid form, your dog will absorb much more glucosamine (and other ingredients) than he would with glucosamine products in pill or capsule form. Because of this, most people notice results in their dogs at about 10-20 days instead of 6-10 weeks with capsules or low-grade liquid products.
Q. Are there any side effects for my dog?
A. Syn-flex® is a very safe product for dogs. However, a small percentage of dogs who are given glucosamine may encounter light diarrhea or stomach upset. This can be avoided by splitting dosage between morning and evening.
Q. Will Syn-flex® interact with any of my dog's medications?
A. Syn-flex® is an all-natural product and does not interact with any medications.
Q. Is Syn-flex® sold in stores?
A. Syn-flex® is not available in any large retail stores at this time.
Q. How can I buy Syn-flex®?
A. We accept credit cards, checks, and money orders. You can order Syn-flex® online via our secure server or mail a check or money order to:

Q. Why is better, stronger, healthier cartilage important for my dog?
A. When your dog's cartilage is damaged, he will suffer the consequences. Since cartilage protects the bones from coming into contact with one another, the opposite result is extremely painful. In a great many cases, it can lead to surgery.
As your dog's cartilage begins to lose its fluid-like capabilities, the process of osteoarthritis has begun. Whether your dog suffers this disease or you are trying to prevent it, every step that you take to avoid the consequences is well worth it.
Q. What exactly IS glucosamine?
A. Glucosamine is a charged sugar molecule that is a key component of the extracellular matrix of cartilage (grout between the cartilage cells). It absorbs and releases water with each step, thereby acting as a shock absorber for the joints. With more glucosamine there is more joint protection.
Glucosamine is a natural sugar produced by your dog's body. It's the main ingredient that determines the amount of proteoglcycan (water-holding) molecules that are formed in the body. The greater the amount of glucosamine in the body, the greater the amount of proteoglycans. The proteoglycans are large, water-binding molecules made up of both proteins and sugars. They are a major building block of healthy, vital cartilage. Glucosamine also stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans (GAG's) which are important proteins found in cartilage. They serve to bind the water within the cartilage matrix. Glucosamine supplements are made from the shells of shellfish.
Q. Is Syn-flex® approved by the FDA?
A. Glucosamine products are nutritional supplements and are not currently regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Q. Will my dog need to take this product daily for the rest of his life, or will I be able to reduce his dosage (or stop giving it at all) at some point?
A. Dogs with severe osteoarthritis should maintain their daily dose (differs according to weight) every day. We recommend that you double your dog's dose for the first 7-10 days.
Q. What does it taste like? Will my dog like it?
A. Syn-flex® has a green apple flavor. Syn-flex® 1500 has an orange flavor. Most dogs like it, but if yours doesn't, it can be mixed in with her food or soaked into a piece of bread.
Q. Is it true that Syn-flex® will ease osteoarthritis pain in cats, horses, and other animals, too?
A. Yes. Glucosamine has been used to ease arthritis pain in horses for many years. Now with the pharmaceutical quality glucosamine, the liquid formula, and the ten other beneficial ingredients, your dog's, cat's, or horse's pain from arthritis or hip dysplasia can be eased with Syn-flex®.
Q. My veterinarian specifically recommended giving my dog Syn-flex®. Are there many veterinarians who recommend Syn-flex®?
A. Many vets recommend glucosamine, with many specifically recommending Syn-flex® for dogs with arthritis.
Q. I have noticed that pills and capsules usually contain both glucosamine and chondroitin. Does Syn-flex® have chondroitin in it?
A. Yes. The shark cartilage is comprised of approximately 20% chondroitin sulfate.
Q. Why did you use Shark Cartilage to derive the Chondroitin Sulfate in Syn-flex®?
A. The two most common compounds that are used for Chondroitin are Bovine (Cow) Trachea and Shark Cartilage. We chose to use shark cartilage over Bovine due to the risk of BSE (Mad Cow Disease).
Q. Why are there slight changes in the color of the product?
A. That slight change in color happens sometimes. It is simply something that happens naturally as a result of exposure to light and is nothing to be concerned about.
You should not refrigerate Syn-flex®. It has a shelf life of two years, so you can store it at room temperature for that long.
Q. I live outside the U.S. and Canada, how can I purchase Syn-flex®?
A. We ship Internationally. You can order an 8-ounce, 32-day of Syn-Flex® for just $27.45 plus shipping.
